Your Place to Learn Torah

Howdy LaShem 2018

The Illinois Center for Jewish Studies is proud to welcome to our team Rabbi Yaakov Klein!

Rabbi Klein was born and raised in Far Rockaway, New York. He studied in Yeshivos in the United States and in Israel during which he discovered his love for teaching and inspiring others. A student of some of the great Chassidic works as well as the works of Reb Chaim Volozhin and the Ramchal, Rabbi Klein intertwines and blends the Lithuanian Yeshiva philosophies with the fire and warmth of the great Chassidic masters. His magnetic personality and profundity of expression have drawn to him many who seek illumination for their path towards connection to Hashem. Rabbi Klein is the author of, “Sparks from Berditchov” published by Feldheim, and is currently working on his second book, “Sparks from Breslov.” For learning opportunities email and stay tuned for information regarding Rabbi Klein’s weekly class beginning after the Yomim Tovim. We wish him and his wife Shira much success in all their endeavors.
