ABOUT ICJS

The Illinois Center for Jewish Studies was founded in 2015 by Rabbi Kalman Worch and dedicated members of the community for the purpose of supporting, disseminating, and advancing knowledge of Torah and Judaism in the greater Chicagoland community.

Rabbi Worch was born in Manchester, England, grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and studied in Yeshivos in the United States and Eretz Yisrael.  He is internationally renowned as a scholar, author, lecturer, and teacher. His unique blend of Torah knowledge, worldly wisdom, and an unquenchable desire to teach, have made his many classes immensely popular, reaching across the globe in many countries.

As a community resource, Rabbi Worch is available to address your particular questions on Torah, Judaism, or life in general.
